welcome to my bookbinding world!
i produce hand-bound books using a variety of styles and materials. formats include blank notebooks as well as albums, guest books, and bullet journals. i also design custom bindings for existing books, printed signatures, and loose sheets.
currently, i am interested in combining traditional bookbinding techniques with non-traditional materials. i have been experimenting with bindings that include locally sourced animal hides including buffalo, deer, moose, and elk, as well as natural materials such as birch bark and wasp nest paper.
i make custom-designed boxes as enclosures for books or other objects. pictures of boxes coming soon!
new for 2020 are two lines of “novelty” bindings: the record/record and album/album binding, and the tipsy wine journal binding.

i can custom design books to different specifications. in addition, i conduct repair and restoration work for books and other works on paper.
